This charming two level home, with its light & airy atmosphere, offers a relaxed and cozy setting on top of sunny Park Hill. Moonstone Beach, Shamel Park & the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve are all within easy walking distance. The house itself offers a large & comfortable living/dining area with pitched ceilings, lots of windows & a gas free standing fireplace. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds & 2 full baths. In addition, there is a sitting room/loft area located off the master bedroom that has its own deck with views to the pretty backyard area. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave & dishwasher has everything you need for those times you prefer dining in. Outfitted with TV/VCR/DVD and Satellite TV, CD, Tape, Radio, Stereo, player as well as wireless broadband internet. This home also features a private garden, three decks, garage, Weber charcoal BBQ & a washer/dryer.

Pelican Cottage is a quiet retreat that will allow you to enjoy the beauty of Cambria. Walk on the beach, stroll along the bluff trail & see local wildlife or enjoy the tranquility of your immediate surroundings at the home itself. It is also easy to catch the local “Otter Trolley” into the Village of Cambria for shopping, dining or just getting to know our beautiful coastal community. Hearst Castle is within a 15 minute drive of the house, as well as the Elephant Seal Viewing areas that are very popular for visitors as well as local residents. Enjoy sampling some of the local award winning wines located close by in the Paso Robles Wine Region or explore the other coastal towns of Cayucos and Morro Bay. There is something for everyone here on the Central Coast…we hope you visit soon!

Rates: 1 to 2 persons .. $195.00 off season rate. Summer season is 6/15 through Labor Day weekend 1 to 2 persons $250 night. Memorial Day Holiday, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year Holiday periods are $250 per night for 1 to 2 persons.(Please inquire regarding specific dates as they will change from year to year).

Additional rates. For 3 to 4 persons .. $25 per person per night will be added to the 1 to 2 person rates plus 12.5 percent occupancy tax.

A minimum $175 cleaning fee will also be charged but may be increased based on number of guests & length of stay, as well as a $35 Res. Fee & 12.5 percent Occupancy Tax on the total amt. I collect 50 percent of the total amount when booking and the remaining monies will be due 30 days prior to arrival via M/C, Visa or American Express. There is always a 3 nt min. stay, however during Summer there is a minimum 5 night stay and minimum rate will begin @ $250/nt. Thanksgiving is a 4 night minimim stays and Xmas and News Year week there are 5 night stays with minimum rate beginning at $250/nt. Federal Holidays will be no less than 3 night stays.

About 24-hour cancellation policy for California properties

Beginning July 1, 2024, the California Senate Bill No. 644 requires hotels, third-party booking services, and hosting platforms to allow a reservation for a hotel accommodation or a short-term rental located in California to be cancelled without penalty for at least 24 hours after the reservation is confirmed.*This applies to reservations made at California properties on or after July 1, 2024. This requirement does not apply to properties located outside of California.

CANCELLATION POLICY:There is a $35 fee for any cancelled reservation. If you cancel a reservation a minimum 61 day notice must be given for an immediate return of your deposit. Any refunds will be paid via check. If less than a 61 day notice is given, there will be no return of deposit or any collected funds unless the home is re-rented. No refunds will be given for early departure or fewer guests after home is occupied.

This applies to reservations made at Californian properties on or after July 1, 2024. This requirement does not apply to properties located outside of California.
